Again: Last chance for treats is approaching. On the First of September, you shall not pass along any more treats in the collection so hurry, ye persons, hurry.

Please comment on your gift fic if you have not yet. In fact, please comment on lots of fic. For a fun challenge, start on page 8 and work your way up!

As said previously: Please take the Spec Recs survey. It is good. It is short. It is anon. It helps us out a lot. We'll be discussing results in our final post this year so please let us know what kind of job we're doing.

First: Treats collection closes, officially, on Sept 1. Also, did you know there is a Spectre Requisitions Survey? Please take it. Doing this helps us determine what works, what doesn't, and what we need to do to make sure there's an ever better Spec Recs next year.

Secondly, I apologize for the amount of time it to finish making these. I've been trying to do a few a day during the run-up but the last few days gave Mod A quite a pleasant backlog. You guys broke a LOT of trophies this year. <3

We'll be doing all bronze, silver, and gold trophies in this post below the cut. The Platinum trophies will be uploaded in another post with a little surprise made by @keita52 and Mod A. :D

With just one week to go until assignments are due, we're seeing a lot of treats and assignments role into the archive! One thing I'm proud of our group for is just how varied the fan works uploaded have been, as today's trophies highlight!

Want to chase some trophies yourself? Don't forget to check our spreadsheet, which includes both all updated trophy information and a list of who still needs a treat!

1) All assignments are due on August 2nd at 11:59 CDT. If you do not know what time this is for you, please use this countdown. We're down to about a week and a half before reveals.

As it stands now, we have 45 works in the archive, of which around 40 are treats. Treats, it is worth noting, will be accepted until author/artist reveals. I'll be busy updating the treatless/treat trophy sheet with the last couple blasts of New Works this weekend, so stay tuned to the sheet for new updates.

2) Authors and artists who have not signed up for the Spec Recs challenge can still participate via writing or drawing treats!

3) Treats have no word limit or any restrictions on the art. Drabbles, sketches, fan vids, animated ship gifs, whatever you like - all fine. If it can be uploaded to Ao3, it can be a treat.

4) If you have any questions you want to ask your recipient, please contact me so I can ask them for you. Please also double check your Ao3 email from time to time for questions as well, so you can answer them!

5) Over in the Discord, we'll be doing several twenty-minute writing/drawing sprints throughout the day this weekend and next. Please come join us to spend time writing/drawing/chatting/having fun!

On to the Trophies:

Once again we're highlighting the Classic Trilogy. Though the collection was originally dominated by Andromeda, the Classic Trilogy has been punching back up the last couple of days - will it be enough to overtake its younger sibling? Only time will tell.

Apologies again for the lack of trophies yesterday. Mod A tried to fix her internet and fell asleep waiting for the diagnostics to run again. Mod A does have the internet again, however, and, happily, is here to present the next 4 chapters. We've got a few new faces today I'm happy to say, and I hope you all are looking forward to the new characters!

Another day, another victory for ScientistSalarian and StarGazerGamer. These two are dominating our trophy charts for the original trilogy so far, although they are facing stiff competition from Raven-Wilde, bloomingcnidarians, and MalcominSpace.

Today we celebrate those who have unlocked location trophies. From Aya to Voeld, from the Tempest to Meridian, our Andromeda fanworks creators have made some serious travelogues!

Today is a golden, great day, delightful denizens of deep space! Not only has Mod A caught up with the influx of new fanworks on the treat sheet, but we are now up to 15 total works in the collection! As before, we’ve unlocked several trophies pre-trophy announcement, so I’ll be dividing those among these first few days so everyone has their time to shine.

Today's works will be GOLD, as fitting Mod A's good mood - our first gold trophy, and proof of our amazing golden community, which has already produced 10 fanworks for Andromeda over a month before our reveals date! I am so proud of you all and so excited by you guys. You truly are amazing.

Please applaud for our very own StarGazerGamer, ScientistSalarian,GuileandGall,KestrelShrike, and Raven_Wilde for adding 10 works to our archive for Andromeda, and ScientistSalarian for single-handedly bringing our Ryder trophies up to gold level with two new treats!

An important note that we in the discord chat talked about yesterday (have you considered joining the discord? We have a blast there!): all works are covered by the trophies treats list, not just treats. The document is named to encourage people to treat, not to just count treats.

Well, folks, it has been a busy day for Mod A, looking over the yummy treats in the collection. We're already up to 10 with most of a month to go! We've unlocked several trophies pre-trophy announcement, so I'll be dividing those among these first few days so everyone has their time to shine.

Today we're starting with two trophies about Ryder, which seems appropriate enough given ME:A's recent release. We've already got gifts in the collection for both Ryders, and unbelievably two fanworks creators managed to unlock two of the Ryder trophies already.

Please applaud for our very own ScientistSalarian and StarGazerGamer, who have already cleared this category through silver!

Thanks to their efforts we are also closing in on the "Mom/Dad likes ME Better" trophy for F!Ryder, who currently has 2 more fics in the collection than her brother. M!Ryder fans, better hurry and catch up if you want to snatch it from her!
